Apart from Belarus, Sweden among the European countries introduced the easiest form of quarantine, including restaurants, and in June should be the start of the football championship with the fans in the stands.
Many criticize this approach, however, in Sweden believe that they can afford it. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs Anne Linde.
“It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Need a quarantine that people will be able to withstand. It’s good that people can go out for a walk. If you’re stuck at home, it increases the risk of depression and domestic violence”.
“Sweden can afford such a quarantine, given the high level of trust people have in government,” said Linda.
Despite the criticism, Sweden has no plans to tighten quarantine.
