Russia’s investigative Committee opened a criminal case against politician Alexei Navalny. He is suspected of defamation and dissemination of false information discrediting the honor and dignity, this June 15, reports TASS.
“It is established that on 2 June, Navalny was placed in their accounts in social networks video (in which the participant of the great Patriotic war Ignat Artemenko expressed its position regarding the amendments to the Constitution), published a review containing false information discrediting the honor and dignity of veterans of the great Patriotic war”, – told the Agency in a press-service SK.
According to TASS, Colonel Artemenko accidentally read a review, which the veteran started to have heart problems in the nervous system, he repeatedly called an ambulance.
We are talking about a video in support of the amendments to the Constitution initiated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. In the video, was attended by actors Vasily Lanovoy and Ivan Okhlobystin, hockey player Vyacheslav Fetisov, the 93-year-old veteran of world war II Ignat Artemenko and others.
The President of the Russian Union of veterans of the army General Mikhail Moiseyev appealed to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin and Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov with a request to give a legal assessment to the statements of the veteran, notes TASS.
