The next tournament on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – WePlay! Clutch Island will be held from 16 to 28 June 2020.
Invited participants and winners of qualifiers will compete for a prize pool of $50,000 and the opportunity to get to the main event for the CS:GO of the year – ESL One: Rio 2020.
Three teams will get the opportunity to fight for a slot in the main tournament through the open qualifiers that will take place over three days from 8-10 June.
To play at the qualifiers, every team from the CIS region. Each qualification starts at 17:00 Kyiv time. The open format of qualifications – grid single elimination. All matches except the final are played to a win. The finals were played to two victories.
The closed training will be held with the participation of five invited teams and the three winners of the open qualifiers. Participants will play two GSL groups, the winners of which go into a final group of closed qualifications. Three of the four members of the final group will move to the main stage of WePlay! Clutch Island.
Between the teams ranked third in each group will go through additional match to determine the winner of the tenth prize.
The main stage
The main stage consists of group stage and Playoff. In the group stage and invited the winning qualifying teams will be divided into two GSL groups to determine the four Playoff participants. The Playoff stage will be held in double elimination format.
Also will the matches between the teams that came out of the groups. The team with the third place in group A will face the team ranked third in group “B”. The same principle will play the team who finished fourth.
All tournament matches, including the Grand final, played to two victories.
The prize Fund of $50 000 14 375 RMR-points will be distributed as follows:
1st place – $15 000 and 2 000 RMR-points;
2nd place – $10 000 and 1 875 RMR-points;
3rd place – $6 000 and 1 750 RMR-points;
4th place – $5 000 and 1 625 RMR-points;
5th place – $4 500 and 1 500 RMR-points;
6th place – $3 500 and 1 375 RMR-points;
7 place – $3 000 and 1 250 RMR-points;
8th place – $3 000 and 1 125 RMR-points;
9th place – 1 000 RMR-points;
10th place – 875 RMR-points.
