Spbniivs bring to the market a tetravalent influenza vaccine in 2021
Saint-Petersburg Institute of vaccines and serums FMBA Russia (Spbniivs) expects the registration of a tetravalent influenza vaccine and next year plans to start its production, reported TASS the Director of the institution Victor Truhin.
“Next year we will be ready to offer to our citizens, our newest development, tetravalent vaccine for the prevention of influenza flu-M Tetra, the documents for registration which are now in the Ministry of health of Russia, and we expect to receive them before the end of the year,” said Truhin.
In September 2019 Sergey Kraevoy, who was at that time Deputy Minister of health of the Russian Federation, reported that the Ministry of health expects up to 2024 to switch completely to tetravalent flu vaccine.
