SHEVCHENKO: “still can’t understand how not scoring in the Champions League final to Liverpool”

The head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko remembered the Champions League final of 2005, which remained for him the worst memory in my gaming career.

“Still I can’t bear to look at the moment when I scored in the last minute of extra – time, Jerzy Dudek parried two of my shot is in focus. Very hard to understand what happened there.

As for the penalty, I can say that was wrong – I had to implement it. To this I very calmly, but the moment the game remains a mystery to me. I can’t find the words to explain this situation”, – said Shevchenko.

Recall that the main time of the Champions League final in 2005 ended with the score 3:3. Liverpool put the squeeze on the opponent in the penalty shootout. Decisive blow, Shevchenko scored.

Earlier, Shevchenko admitted that he wants to coach Liverpool.
