Series A: the Prime Minister does not guarantee the resumption of the season
Italy will emerge from quarantine on may 4, when sports teams are allowed to start individual training. Team training can be resolved on may 18.
In such a situation, a season of A Series can be renewed in early June, but the government is not ready to confirm it officially.
“Look, will it be possible to resume the championship. We want it, but now do not promise anything. All should be safe, athletes should not be at risk”.
“I myself, like many Italians love football, but do not promise anything about the season,” – said the Prime Minister of Italy, Giuseppe Conte.
The same opinion with Minister of sports Vincenzo Spadafora.
“Full training will resume on may 18, but only if the conditions were safe. All will become clear within two weeks.”
“None of us want to slow down the return of football, but health is more important”.
