German racing driver Michael Schumacher have to go through another operation.
Specialist in cardiovascular diseases Phillip Menashe, who last year treated a legend of Formula 1, is going to hold the next round of transfusion (transplantation) heart cells. He said: “the Aim is to restore the nervous system of Michael”.
According to the neurosurgeon Nicolas Acciari, the former Ferrari and Mercedes driver suffering from muscle atrophy and osteoporosis: “For the past 20 years, science has made great strides in the field of stem cell treatment. But it doesn’t change the fact that we still know little about the human brain. We can’t tell what results it will bring.”
51-year-old Schumacher suffered serious brain injuries during a fall on the slopes, at the end of 2013.
