Sanofi can provide 100 million doses of hydroxychloroquine

French pharmaceutical company Sanofi would give 100 million doses of hydroxychloroquine 50 countries on a grant basis, according to Reuters. According to some studies, this antimalarial drug may be effective in the treatment of coronavirus infection.

The company also announced the increase at 8 factories around the world in the production of hydroxychloroquine 50%. “Sanofi encourages all participants in the supply chain of hydroxychloroquine to work together to ensure the uninterrupted supply of medication which can help in the treatment of patients with COVID-19”, – stated in the message of the pharmaceutical manufacturer.
