Sanders came out of the presidential race
The Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders has refused further participation in the fight for the nomination as candidate for US presidents from Democratic party. As reported by CNN, the politician announced to employees its headquarters on the morning of 8 April.
In his Twitter, Sanders wrotethat will be the day with the video.
The last public event during the campaign Senator held on 9 March. He then published the videos, which focused on the agenda to combat coronavirus.
The failure of the Sanders makes the former Vice-President of the USA Joe Biden, the only presidential candidate from Democrats.
In the first “super Tuesday” primaries on March 3, Biden won in 10 States, the second “super Tuesday” on March 10 he won in Missouri, Mississippi, Michigan, Idaho and Washington.
March 17, Biden won in three States after the primaries had been suspended due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Sanders was victorious in seven States.
The presidential election of 2020 is scheduled for 3 November.
77-year-old Sanders represents Vermont in the Senate since 2007. In 2016, he’s already ran for President but lost the nomination to Hillary Clinton.
