Russia will allocate $ 1 million to the who to fight the coronavirus and will cover the cost of more than $ 61,4 million rubles for delivery in a number of States means for diagnosis. The corresponding order was prepared by the government of the Russian Federation, reports TASS.
“Select in 2020 budgetary allocations from the Federal budget for payment of one-time voluntary targeted contribution to the world health organization on the implementation of measures against novel coronavirus infection in the amount of up to $1 million”, – stated in the order.
The government has also allocated more than 61,4 million roubles on financing of expenses of the state scientific center “Vector” and the Central research Institute of epidemiology. These funds will be spent on production and supply in the countries of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central and South-East Asia, Middle East, Africa, South America products for laboratory diagnosis of novel coronavirus infection and the provision of logistical support.
