Due to the improved situation with the spread COVID-19 Russia started carrying out preventive medical examinations and professional examinations, in the period of high alert, the preventive measures were suspended.

Today, medical inspections and prophylactic medical examination became available again for the adult population of Russia, except for citizens aged 65 years and older and persons at risk of having chronic disease of respiratory, cardiovascular and endocrine systems. They will be able to pass medical examinations only after the complete removal of restrictions and elimination of proliferation risks coronavirus infection.

Given the persistence of risks of the second wave COVID-19 adopted several measures to prevent the spread of infection. Thus, patients are required to enroll in the clinic, in addition it is possible to organize a “comprehensive record” (one day for a visit to several specialists).

According to the data of 2019, more than 51% of the insured under the MHI patients were preventive measures. However, one third of the patients had received medical examinations regularly, and now need constant treatment.
