38-year-old former midfielder “Dnepr” Ruslan rotan shared his thoughts on a former coach of the Dnieper team Myron Markevych, under whose leadership “Dnepr” reached the final of the Europa League.
“Miron Markevich has brought to our team a note, which helped to add to the team, let’s say, raisins. He opened up guys, found the approach to each player. We have acquired your combination football, and under Ramos we played more on the counterattack. Together, this brought the result — we have become stronger. First and foremost, with this coach, we began to play more confidently.
Chuyko Markiewicz is a gift of God. He felt a lot of chances. I remember Bogdanovich puts the player, he comes out and makes the result”, said rotan.
Markevich headed “Dnepr” from 2014 to 2016 years. In the 2014/2015 season Dnipro reached the UEFA Europa League final, where they lost to the Spanish “Seville” (2:3).
