Rostec increase production of protective suits
Corporation Roskhimzaschita of rostec state Corporation has increased the production of costumes for physicians to 150 thousand sets per day. Just since April 20 was manufactured about 1 million protective kits. The kits are delivered in regional hospital.
“The state set the task from mid-may to secure the release of 150 thousand medical suits daily. In cooperation with material suppliers and garment factories, we have already achieved these volumes for the last day of the company produced for our order more than 150 thousand protective kits for doctors. Such growth due to the needs of the Russian regions have only from April 20 to have received applications from more than 1.5 million in protective medical suits,” said Executive Director of rostec state Corporation Oleg Yevtushenko.
Disposable medical suits are made-to-order “of Roshimzaschita” 15 large garment factories. The set includes pants, jacket, hat, surgical gown and high overshoes. Costumes are made of composite nonwoven material, SMS (spunbond-meltblown-spunbond) c of the filtering layer, which provides a high degree of protection from viruses. Material for them is purchased directly from the largest Russian manufacturers. Through direct procurement, overalls comes to regions at a minimum price of RUB 847 per set excluding shipping.
