Lead inter forward Romelu Lukaku said that back in January, long before the quarantine and stop the season because of a coronavirus, in the team most of the players got sick with some flu.
“At the end of December we had a week without matches, and then we went back to work and I swear to God the 23 players of the 25 in the first team was sick. I don’t cheat”.
“I remember we played against Cagliari and someone had to change at the start of the match because he’s due to weakness not able to play (Milan Skrinjar left the field on 17-th minute). Almost everyone was coughing, they had the fever.”
“Of course, no tests for coronavirus if no one did, no one knew anything,” said Lukaku.
