RNC Pharma: Malaysia, Mexico and Macau the most actively increasing imports of Russian pharmaceutical substances
The volume of imports of active pharmaceutical substances in Russia for the first six months of 2020 amounted to 87.3 billion rubles, the dynamics relative to similar period of 2019 reached 54% in rubles, according to the RNC Pharma. Natural volumes are growing modestly, here the long-term dynamics fixed at 25%, since the beginning of the year in our country imported 7.3 thousand tons of substances, including raw materials of technical purity grade, analysts say.
Imports structure by type of substances over the past year, much has changed: so the ruble technical share of AFS to total imports for the year decreased from 4.8% to 3.4%, but on the contrary physical indicators have grown substantially. In the 1st half of 2020 at the technical ASF were 4.6% of deliveries, whereas a year earlier only 3.4%.
In relation to the geography of supplies of pharmaceutical substances maximum dynamics, both in monetary and physical terms for the 1st half of 2020 showed Malaysia (shipment grew at 12.9 times), Mexico (6.4 times) and Macau (in 4.4 times). All three areas are not entirely new for Russian importers, and yet attention to these regions in the current year has increased many times over.
