RNC Pharma: in June of importers of finished drugs again formed reserves

The total volume of import of medicines into Russia for January-June 2020 amounted to 269,3 billion, the dynamics of the same period of 2019 and are unable to escape from the negative zone (-2%), analysts said RNC Pharma.

According to the Analytics company, in June, the importers again sought to form the stock, after it became clear that the next postponement of the start marking system is not going to happen. Delivery of in-bulk at the end of the 1st half of the year 2020 showed an increase of 20% in total since the beginning of the year, Russia imported bulk products in the amount of 64.5 billion rubles.

Activation of ready-to-PL was noted in may 2020-in June more vendors shipped the goods: monetary volume of imports of finished drugs during the period exceeded that of June 2019 2.1 times. The amount of supply was comparable volumes October-November 2019 – the period of preparation for the first attempt to launch a labeling system PL.

  

The formation of inventory mainly related to the products of the upper price segment, so that the natural dynamics significantly lagged behind the growth rate in rubles, analysts say.
