RANIERI: “the Sampdoria player was positive, negative and positive test”
Coach of UC Sampdoria Claudio Ranieri knows when the season will resume, but notes that in Italy don’t know much about the coronavirus and how to test the players.
“I’m not an expert and can’t say I’m right about the virus. But we have a player whose first test showed positive, then negative and then again positive.”
“Therefore, all need to be very careful. I read that the coronavirus can have long-lasting consequences for the heart. Before possible resumption need the doctors explained everything,” said Ranieri.
Sampdoria is one of several Italian clubs, where he recognized the presence of infected.
