Published a new list of strategic enterprises

The governmental Commission on increase of stability of the Russian economy approved the new list of strategic organizations whose financial conditions in the context of the collapse in oil prices and pandemics coronavirus Russian authorities will monitor and, if necessary, to consider providing support. The updated list includes 646 companies, reports “Interfax”.

The list includes six pharmaceutical companies: JSC Binnopharm, OJSC “Biosintez”, JSC “Pharmstandard”, LLC “Neo-farm”, JSC “R-Pharm”, JSC “Joint-stock Kurgan society of medical drugs and products “Synthesis”. Also the list includes OAO “PROTEK” (in the section “Agriculture”).

The first such list was compiled during the 2008 crisis, in 2014-2015, after the weakening of the ruble against the background of cheap oil, and geopolitical risks, the list has been updated. Against the background of crisis phenomena in world economy associated with the pandemic coronavirus, the government decided to update the list.

In addition to the opportunity to qualify for state support, presence in the list is also likely to mean a moratorium on the bankruptcy in the next six months – there is a point in the draft government resolution, prepared by the Ministry of economic development.
