Prague authorities are in quarantine after the detection COVID-19 of the Deputy mayor
A number of officials of Prague are in quarantine after the Deputy mayor confirmed the coronavirus. It is reported Novinky.cz.
On 16 June the Deputy mayor of Prague Petr Hlubucek reported that he was diagnosed with the infection COVID-19.
“Last night I had a fever of 37.8°C. I decided to be responsible and not go to work today, passed the test. In the evening confirmed a positive result,” – said Hlubucek.
On the eve of June 14, the Deputy mayor attended the seven-hour meeting with other officials of Prague. In this regard, the mayor of Prague, zdeněk Grib reported that all participants go on a 14-day quarantine.
“Our colleague is infected with COVID-19. I wish him a speedy recovery. Everyone who was at the meeting of the city Council, must go into quarantine – that is, the entire leadership of the city,” he wrote on Twitter, the mayor, noting that if the coalition partners agreed to an online meeting, this could have been avoided.
