Today in Moscow the action in support of ex-journalist, adviser to the head of “Roscosmos” of Ivan Safronov, the arrests started. It is reported by “Novaya Gazeta”.
The event was held at the SIZO “Lefortovo”, first there detained a member of the Union of journalists Sophia Rusova, which was holding a banner reading “Freedom for Ivan Safronov,” the reason for the detention she was not called.
After Rasovoi security forces taken away in a paddy wagon the correspondent of the newspaper “Cold” Maria Karpenko, journalists of “Kommersant” Olga Allenova, Anna Povero, Anna Vasilyeva, Yulia Gallyamova and Lily Galyavieva, editor of “Kommersant-FM” Alla Pugacheva, a former journalist of “Vedomosti” Tatyana Morozov and author Avtozak LIVE Maxim Kondratiev.
The publication writes that in jail they came without posters, but they were wearing t-shirts with the words “#Spinovaya” and “Freedom for Ivan Safronov”.
A rally in support Safronov organized by the Union of journalists and media workers. The protesters demand to stop the persecution of their colleagues and to declassify the case Safronov.

In the evening the Lefortovo court of Moscow arrested Safronova until September 6. Adviser to the head of the Roscosmos believes that he is being persecuted for his journalistic activities.
