Pharmaceutical plants of Moscow has promptly implemented a system of marking medicines
Pharmaceutical factories of Moscow in the period has completed testing and implemented a system for labeling of medicines, said the Deputy mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations Vladimir Yefimov. This system became mandatory from 1 July 2020.
“Since the beginning of this year, the pharmaceutical industry, which employs 15 large and medium enterprises, is showing significant growth. From January to April, pharmaceutical plants produced and sold drugs and medical materials at 54 billion rubles, which is 52 percent more than the same period last year,” he said.
Marking is required for communication about the movement of drugs (putting drugs into circulation, they move from manufacturer to supplier and then to the pharmacy, the temporary withdrawal from circulation and other operations).
As noted by the head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow, Alexander Prokhorov, Moscow pharmaceutical plants meet all the requirements of modern and high-quality production of drugs, and why most of them began preparations for the implementation of the new system last year.
