Paulo FONSECA: “Several players from Shakhtar would like to see in Rome”
Former head coach of “Shakhtar” Paulo Fonseca admitted that he would like to see in Rome a few players in orange-and-black.
“The press in Italy was interested in all players of Shakhtar. I know well the players of Shakhtar. Most of them could play in the best European Championships. It’s hard to expect that we can invite one or two players of Shakhtar.
But at the moment we do not need a lot of players rely on those we have. Let’s see whether there will be an interest to any player of Shakhtar. At the moment, the clubs want to pay less and less, and Shakhtar are not easy to negotiate. But I would like a couple of players of the Donetsk team are to see in “Roma,” said Fonseca in the program “Great football”.
