Nationals are planning to pay monthly base income due to the impact of the pandemic coronavirus infection COVID-19. It is reported by the BBC.

According to the publication, next week the government will approve this decision. Initially, it will cover not less than 100 thousand families most affected by the impact of the pandemic.

Every adult would receive a monthly minimum of €462m ($500) regardless of other income. Later, the government plans to extend the programme to other categories of citizens.

According to the Minister of social security josé Luis escrivá, the payments will cost the government €3-3. 5 billion per year.
