June 9 in the Netherlands court in the case of the crash of flight MH17 “Malaysian airlines” over Ukraine on 17 July 2014, the prosecution informed why rejected various theories about the crash of the passenger liner, which was supported by the Russian media and official representatives of Russia. About it writes “Radio Freedom”.
In particular, the investigation team, analyzing the theory that the Boeing could be shot down Ukrainian military plane, found that at the time of the accident no Ukrainian radar in the area did not work. Russian control radar also recorded the presence of other aircraft near the passenger side. Control radar did not record the launch, but experts believe this is logical, given the small size of the missiles compared to aircraft. The data of military radar, the Russian investigation team has not passed; satellite images, according to authorities of the Russian Federation, were not saved. The United States refused to declassify satellite imagery, which recorded the time of launch.
The prosecution also recalled that “the Spanish Manager Carlos” who claimed that near flight MH17 were two Ukrainian aircraft, subsequently admitted that is not a Manager, and for the lies he was paid.
The version of the Russian concern “Almaz-Antey”, supposedly that Boeing could be shot down from the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, the investigators also rejected. At least two witnesses told the investigation that he had seen the rocket of “Buka” on July 17 in the area of Snow that is on the territory controlled by Russian-backed militants.
Data about the rocket, which was transferred from the Ministry of defense of Russia in 2018 (Ministry of defense claimed that the missile fired at Boeing, was allegedly transferred to a military unit in Ukraine in 1986), the investigation team found contradictions. In particular, the type of missile, which they say does not match the type that was allegedly shot down a passenger plane. In addition, the documents in 1991, the missiles from this number in the Ukrainian part of which was discussed, was not.
As writes the edition, tomorrow the prosecution will continue to present their arguments.
