July 30 off the coast of southern California during military exercises, killing one soldier of the marine Corps of the United States, and another eight were missing. This is stated in the statement of the First expeditionary force of the marine corps, published in Twitter.
“One marine was killed, eight soldiers are still missing, and two others were injured in the accident AAV [amphibious amphibious vehicles] on July 30 off the coast of southern California. Search and rescue efforts continue with the support of naval forces and coast guard,” – said in the body.
All on Board the vehicle were 15 Marines and one soldier of the Navy.
