Oleh SALENKO: “Faked a concussion to have taken away in army”
50-year-old former forward of Petersburg “Zenith” and Kiev “Dynamo” Oleg Salenko explained why he had to fake a concussion in the match for the Russian club.
“Now, perhaps, you can open a little secret. In the last match for “Zenith” in Moscow, I faked a concussion five minutes before the end of the game — if only I was in the army immediately out of the arena not raked. Diagnosed at six months, a deferment was given. For three days I honestly have lain in hospital of a name Sklifosovsky. Fedoritch with two generals came up, admonished them, but I for myself have already decided everything. I don’t think sadyrin highly offended when otherwise would not have taken subsequently at the world Cup in 1994,” — said Salenko.
Salenko played for Zenit from 1985 to 1988 years, then moved to Kiev “Dynamo”.
