In March, the camp Haney WBC officially notified and sent medical documentation that he is fully recovered from injury and ready to fight. Boxer formally requested that the WBC has reinstated him as champion in the lightweight division.
After examining the positions of all the participating boxers and the circumstances of the global crisis in health care, the WBC Board voted, which passed the following resolution:
- To restore Chani devine as world champion in the light weight;
- Allow Devin Hani voluntary defense of this title;
- To authorize the fight Javier Fortuna vs Luke Campbell for the right to become mandatory Challenger;
- Haney, if you win voluntary defense needs to fight the winner of the battle of Fortuna against Campbell.
