“Now everything is under control.” Trump announced the withdrawal of national guard from Washington
The US President Donald trump on June 7 announced on Twitter that he gave the order for the withdrawal of units of the National guard of Washington (DC).
“I have ordered the National guard to begin preparations for the withdrawal from Washington. Now [in the capital] are all under great control. They go home, but can quickly return, if necessary,” said the President of the United States.
He added that last night in Washington was “much less protesters than expected”.
I have just given an order for our National Guard to start the process of withdrawing from Washington, D.C., now that everything is under perfect control. They will be going home, but can quickly return, if needed. Far fewer protesters showed up last night than anticipated!
