The world health organization (who) included nine Russian vaccines against coronavirus infection in the list of promising. It is reported portal stopmanager.of the Russian Federation.

The list includes six vaccines, developed at the State research center of Virology and biotechnology “Vector” and three vaccines other research organizations.

Among the developments of Novosibirsk scientists have development, created on the basis of a vaccine against Ebola virus based on the viruses of measles, influenza A, vesicular stomatitis. Also recognized as a promising subunit and the mRNA-vaccine center Vector.

Additionally, the company BIOCAD presented two vaccines: live attenuated based on the basics of the flu virus, created in conjunction with the FEDERAL state scientific institution “Institute of experimental medicine”, and a liposome encapsulated mRNA.

In St.-Petersburg research Institute of vaccines and sera created a vaccine based on recombinant protein and nanoparticles.

According to the current list of candidate vaccines against COVID-19, formed who, on 23 April 2020 in the world there are 83 drug, of which 77 are in preclinical studies, and 6 are clinical studies on humans.
