Nikita KORZUN: “Lukashenko told to drink vodka, but I disagree”
Belarusian midfielder Nikita Korzun, who previously played for Kiev “Dynamo” and now plays to rent in Portugal for the club, “Villefranche”, expressed his opinion about the events in his native country:
“Belarus is one of the few countries where still playing football. The Federation decided to stop the lower divisions, but to save the game in the top division and the players can’t do anything. People are in the stands, many with masks, and the necessary caution, but the players cannot refuse to play as the Federation continues to believe that all right.”
From the beginning of the pandemic, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called the various methods of treatment of this disease, such as saunas or drinking vodka. Korzun said:
“The President talked about this, but I disagree. I’m a professional athlete, and I don’t drink vodka, but there are those who like to drink. Go to the sauna only if you go there with your family. Shopping malls also need to have limited access for people.”
25-year-old Nikita Korzun told that the trains to keep in shape:
“I run about 50 minutes early in the morning, not to see other people in the woods near my house. After lunch I train at a gym in my house. I do my weight training and fitness to be ready. But I rarely leave the house because I love to play with my daughter.”
