The NHL has identified three candidates for the HART Trophy – the trophy for the best player of the regular season.
They were forwards Artemy Panarin (Rangers), Leon Dreiseitl (Edmonton) and Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado).
Dreiseitl was the best scorer of the regular season, scoring 110 points in the 71st match (43 goals and 67 assists). McKinnon finished the regular season with 93 (35+58) points, and Panarin 95 points (32+63).
Regular season 2019/20 was not finished due to the coronavirus. The season will resume on the 1st of August with the playoffs.
