Murashko made for the introduction of a vertical management model in healthcare

The Minister of health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko supports the introduction of vertically-integrated model of managing the health system, writes TASS. This will help to react quickly and make correct decisions in various situations, said Murashko.

“By verticalization [health] I’m always for, you need to understand only the level of verticalization. Of course, just need to negotiate with the leaders of the health system and prepare them specifically, because the current situation shows that those more experienced, they are more than competently acted. <…>. The regions are not all equally went to [set] the task [to combat coronavirus], so the verticalization determined necessary”, the Minister said Wednesday at a plenary session of the state Duma.

Earlier, the President of the National medical chamber, the head of the research Institute of emergency children’s surgery and traumatology Leonid Roshal has acted for the consolidation of vertically-integrated model of managing the health system in the Constitution.
