Moscow might face a shortage of beds for patients with coronavirus

In the next 2-3 weeks in Moscow may be a shortage of beds in hospitals, disused for the treatment of patients with coronavirus. About it reported in Department of health in Moscow.

“Assessing the current situation, the operational staff predicts that despite the inclusion of a growing number of state, Federal and commercial clinics in the next two to three weeks a possible shortage of beds in disused hospitals,” – said in desgraves.

Currently the situation with coronavirus infection in the capital remains tense. The number of daily diagnosed cases of coronavirus remains consistently high.

In connection with the situation have been taken a number of measures to mobilize the whole healthcare system in Moscow. So, in the next 10 days will be redeveloped 24 city hospital for the treatment of patients with suspected coronavirus infection. Thus, in total, will be deployed about 21 thousand infectious beds.
