Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin urged the regions to expeditiously pay for medical workers co-pay for treatment of those infected with the coronavirus of patients, informs TASS. At a meeting on socio-economic issues, he said that the Russian government brought to the regions the funds for bonuses, however, allocated more than RUR 27.5 billion paid to doctors while only about 4.5 billion.

“They [health workers] are now fighting for the life and health of people. We must do everything possible to their work and the risk was paid on time,” – said Mishustin. He recalled that the delay in the issuance of payments to physicians earlier drew the attention of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

As noted by the Chairman of the Cabinet, problems with payments is, even in those regions where new infection is spread most strongly, and medical professionals continue to work with maximum load. “At the same time, Chukotka and Magadan’t even started the payments,” – said the Prime Minister, stating the need to thoroughly understand the situation.

“I’m here I hope that the Ministry of health will intensify work to enhance payments to physicians. In the matter of implementation of the decision on the support of doctors need a lot of activity of a management of regions. Know you deal with this issue” – said Mishustin to the Minister of health Michael Murashko.

The Prime Minister also drew attention of the management of social insurance Fund on the need to promptly review documents for insurance cases of coronavirus infection have suffered doctors, and without delay to carry out all due payments.

He urged the regional authorities not to wait for the date of accrual of salaries to allocate incentive payments to physicians participating in the fight against the pandemic coronavirus. “I want to draw the attention of the regions: these funds are incentive in nature, and as soon as they enter the regions, they should be immediately brought to health workers, it is not necessary to wait for the dates of your wages,” he said.

The Prime Minister added that the lagging regions should do this as soon as possible to may 15, all debt physicians for April was repaid.
