Mircea LUCESCU: “I HAVE always had trouble with the British”
On the eve of the English edition of FourFourTwo announced their version of the 100 best football coaches of all time.
As we reported, Ukrainian Valery Lobanovsky ranked in the top 10-th place, but well familiar to domestic fans on many years of experience with Shakhtar’s Romanian coach Mircea Lucescu took only 87.
Romanian journalists contacted Lucescu to comment on this rating, but Mircea was extremely terse.
“I don’t want to comment on it. I’ve always had problems with the British,” said 74-year-old.
Recall that during his career, Lucescu has won 33 trophies, including 22 – with Shakhtar Donetsk.
Previously, the agent Vadim Shabliy said that in the summer of Mircea Lucescu will be placed into the “good club”.
