Lukashenko said that the Belarusian authorities foiled the plan of the organization “a certain independence” in the country

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said on June 19 meeting on the work of the banking system, authorities disrupted a large-scale plan to destabilize the situation in the country.

“We still managed to do some steps ahead of the curve and disrupt the large-scale plan to destabilize Russia (this is no joke and not bullying) and to lead the country to a certain independence. This was the goal. Mask off certain not only dolls that we had here, but the puppeteers who sit outside of Belarus”, – quotes Lukashenko the press service of the President of Belarus.

He said that some forces are invigorated and want to “destabilize the situation in the country,” but did not specify what these forces are.

“You see that today the focus of all political interests are concentrated in Belarus. Both from the West and from the East. Watching the situation in the last days, I see that intensified certain forces which begin to intensificate, rocking the situation in the country. We watched it, and for a long time”, – said the head of state.

Lukashenko stressed that as President and citizen “will not allow anyone to break the country”.

“I want to understand you and others. For me there is no greater value than Belarus – a sovereign and independent. And the preservation of this country I will go, whatever it may cost,” he said.

In Belarus is scheduled for August 9th inivory President. June 19 is the deadline to collect signatures of the presidential aspirants.

Lukashenko, who heads Belarus since 1994, intends to run for another term.
