Lukashenko announced about strengthening of border with Russia
Abroad of Belarus and Russia strengthened supervision, said on 9 August President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. About this informed the press-service of the head of state.
“On the border control is very serious. We have also strengthened surveillance in response to recent events in the Belarusian-Russian border. By the way, there were people whom we expelled from the country,” – said Lukashenko.
According to him, for the last time in Belarus is not allowed, a total of 170 citizens.
“Or fake visas were shown, or could not even explain that coming” – said the President of Belarus.
In Belarus today is the primary vote at the election of the President of Belarus. Just as the head of state claimed five people: Lukashenko, the opposition Svetlana Tikhanovski, co-Chairman of the Association “Tell the truth” Andrey Dmitriev, ex-Deputy of the house of representatives Anna Konopacka and the leader of the party “Belarusian social-democratic Gramada” Sergey Cerecer.
The day before, on July 29, the Belarusian authorities announced the arrest of 33 Russians who are in the PMCs “Wagner”. In the security Council of Belarus said that the detainees opened criminal case under the article about the preparation of terrorist acts, later it was reported that they are suspected of preparing mass riots. In Minsk said that the Russian Federation was not notified of the transfer of power PMC via Belarus.
In an interview with the founder of the edition “GORDON” Dmitry Gordon, which aired on 6 August, Lukashenka said that will give Ukraine detained militants in case, if Kiev will prove their involvement in crimes in the Donbass. Lukashenko instructed to invite to the country Prosecutor General of Russia and Ukraine for trial in the situation of the detained militants. 9 August the President of Belarus stated that the attorneys General did not come.
