Luka MODRIC: “Ronaldo almost crying after criticism of Mourinho”
Winner of the Golden ball-2018 Luka Modric in his autobiography, “My game” said about the conflict between the former coach of real Madrid Jose Mourinho and former striker of the club of Cristiano Ronaldo:
“The reaction of Mourinho surprised me. We won 2:0 in the Spanish Cup. Ronaldo wasn’t holding the player after a throw-in and Jose was angry at Cristiano. They had a long fight on the field.
When we break back to the locker room, I saw that Ronaldo is upset, he almost cried. Cristiano said: “I’m struggling, and he still criticizes me.”
Mourinho came and began to criticize the Portuguese for his actions during the game. It got so hot that only the intervention of the players prevented a clash between them.”
