“Let us work”. Latvian clubs protesting against isolation
Latvian football clubs recorded an appeal to the authorities of the state, where he expressed a desire to end the isolation and get to work.
Latvia is gradually weakening the quarantine, and people of certain professions received permission to work again, but sport and football was banned indefinitely.
“Let us work” – under this slogan the players recorded the video. The players are ready even to train, but to observe all security measures.
“We are not asking or demanding of irresponsibility, concludes at the end of the video the most effective player of the national team of Latvia in its history, and ex-player of “Dinamo” Maris Verpakovskis. — We realize and understand the seriousness of the situation. We ask you to understand us and map all the risks so we can work and children to be healthy. We believe that it is adequate and justified.”
