Former Vice-President of the USA Joe Biden on may 25 took part in a public event for the first time since mid-March, writes The Hill.

Biden laid flowers at the monument to veterans in the Wilmington (Delaware) on the occasion of the commemoration Day (national day of remembrance in the United States dedicated to fallen American servicemen), accompanied by his wife Jill Biden.

The former Vice President said he was pleased to be out of the house, writes Reuters.

According to the Agency, since mid-March, Biden, a likely presidential candidate from the Democratic party, had not left the residence in Wilmington. The last public events in which he participated, was a television debate in Washington on 15 March.
