Italy agreed on the resumption of the championship from the 20th of June, but there is still no clarity what to do with players whose contracts expire at the end of this month.
“Now all the players whose contracts expire on 30 June, in July, may refuse to take the field. Football Federation advises to renew them before the end of the season, but exactly nothing has been done”.
“For example, josé Callejón in theory has the right to refuse to play for Napoli since July,” said Beppe Galli, head of the Association of football agents in Italy.
The A-series is planning to end the season in August.
