Inter could not agree with Cavani
Previously it was reported that inter are negotiating with the PSG forward Edinson Cavani, who at the end of the season will become a free agent.
However, the parties failed to agree and negotiations came to a standstill. The reason are the requirements of 33-year-old Uruguayan wages.
Cavani demanded that inter paid € 12 million per year, which would make him the highest paid player of the club. Inter were not willing to pay Cavani more than now pays Christian Eriksen and Romelu Lukaku (8.5 to 9 million per year).
Where will continue career Cavani is not yet known. Boca juniors, with whom Cavani led the negotiations, also proved unable to meet his financial appetites.
