In the US the man who was selling medical masks and gloves at inflated prices, seized a large consignment of goods. It is reported by The New York Times.
According to the newspaper, the man lied to Federal agents about the cost of medical supplies. In particular, he demanded from one of the doctors $12 thousand for a large order of masks and gowns at a premium of 700%.
The offender seized 192 thousand respirators, 130 thousand surgical masks and medical gloves 600 th. The confiscated goods, the local authorities will give health care workers in new York and new Jersey.
“Cracking down on the accumulation of vital reserves, we can distribute the material among the heroic health care workers on the front lines who need them”, – quotes the NYT Minister of health and human services Alex Azar.
