In the second round of presidential elections in Poland face the current head of state Andrzej Duda, the mayor of Warsaw, rafał Trzaskowski, told the Agency PAP , citing data from the National election Commission of Poland.
As of 15: 00 are processed the efficiency of 99.78% of the protocols. For voted tune of 43.67% of the voters (8.4 million votes), behind Trzaskowski – 30,34% (5.8 million). Third place goes to TV presenter Simon Smut 13.85% (2.7 million). Only at the highest state post ran 11 candidates.
So the dude in the first round, gaining more votes than predicted by exit polls: 41.8 per cent for the incumbent President and 30.4% of mayor of Warsaw.
In Ukraine, as reported by Gazeta Wyborcza , citing data from the electoral Commission, a majority of the votes received, the current head of state. He was supported by 332 Polish citizens who during the elections were in Ukraine (51,71%), Trzaskowski received 191 votes (29,75%).
Voter turnout was 64.4%.
The first round of elections in Poland took place on 28 June. The vote was held under a mixed system: in polling stations and by mail. The second round is scheduled for July 12.
Duda, supported by the ruling party “law and justice”, took the post of the head of state in 2015. His term of office ends August 6.
