In the Russian Federation approved new guidelines for the management of children with autism spectrum disorders
Scientific and practical Council of the Russian Ministry of health approved the new guidelines “autism spectrum Disorders in children.” The document was developed by Russian scientists, practicing psychiatrists, neurologists and clinical psychologists with the participation of international experts. In the working group was also attended by parents of children with ASD.
The application of recommendations aimed at improving the quality of care to children with ASD will become mandatory as of 2022, but medical organization begin to acquaint specialists with new regulations and to conduct educational activities now.
Clinical guidelines prepared by the Association of psychiatrists and psychologists for evidence-based practice, received the positive conclusion of the Center appraisal and monitoring the quality of medical care Ministry of health of Russia.
