In the Japanese city Yamato just took an unusual present law prohibiting the use of smartphones while walking.
The basis for this decision was the public recognition of the dangers of using smartphones while walking on the streets. Despite the seeming strangeness of such a ban, it was supported 240 000 inhabitants Yamato.
Now on arrival at the station Yamato can hear the warning about the prohibition of the use of smartphones while walking on sidewalks and in parks. Citizens are required to use a phone after stopping. However, violators of the ban may not yet be afraid of any sanctions with the exception of comments and even anger beside law-abiding citizens.
According to many residents of Yamato, to walk the streets buried in a phone screen is really dangerous, but they’re not sure how to combat this cost is to introduce a new law.
