The Swiss government ordered all public transport passengers from 6 July to wear masks. About it reported government portal.

In addition, on 15 June Switzerland opened its borders to tourists from a number of countries, and on 6 July expanded the list of States whose nationals is open entry. This has led to the increase in the number of passengers and failing to observe social distance, said the government.
“Persons over the age of 12 must wear a mask in trains, trams and buses and the funiculars and cable cars, lake and river vessels”, – stated in the order.
Earlier, the authorities recommend passengers to wear a mask during peak hours, but few people followed this advice, complain the authors.
According to the data on 6 July, in Switzerland and neighbouring Liechtenstein coronavirus was confirmed in 32 315 (+47 for the last day), died 1686 people.
