The Seoul Metropolitan government (South Korea) on 9 may suspended the work of the clubs and bars after a new outbreak of coronavirus infection, said the Agency Yonhap.
On Saturday in Seoul was confirmed 18 new cases of infection with coronavirus, while the last few weeks in the country were recorded only single cases of infection. At least 17 people have been infected by one 29-year-old man, who in early may, visited five institutions in Seoul’s Itaewon district.
According to authorities, could be infected up to 1.5 thousand people, who have also visited these clubs and bars.
The government of Seoul called on all who visited the clubs and bars in Itaewon during the period from 29 April to 6 may, to pass tests for coronavirus and isolate themselves.
Quarantine in South Korea have begun to weaken since April 19. Subject to the rules of social and physical distancing and hygiene authorities allowed to resume religious services, to open public catering establishments and gyms, and also allowed visits to parks and playgrounds.
