In Russia there will be a register of recipients of preferential medicines
The state Duma approved in third reading a law establishing the Federal register of beneficiaries entitled to free medicines, medical products and health food. The register will be established on September 1, 2020, according to the website of the state Duma.
“Thanks to digitization this will allow you to automate the analysis of provision of citizens with medicines, to improve the accuracy of forecasts needs to change and optimize the delivery of drugs”, – said the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin. He added that he also set the frequency of revision of list of essential medicines – at least once a year.
“This initiative should simplify the lives of citizens who struggle with serious illnesses, to in a timely manner and get the desired products, — said Vyacheslav Volodin. — Therefore it is very important that by the time the law came into force in full (1 January 2021), the Government has adopted all necessary regulations”.
