“Unfortunately, during this period, the role of alcohol in mortality rate began to increase,” – said the head of the Russian Ministry of health.

Murashko said that the possibility of prohibition to buy alcohol for persons under 21 years of age. According to him, to reduce mortality and morbidity must be “the reduction of alcohol consumption”.

The Minister also noted that in Russia after the citizens of 18 years has dramatically changed the ratio of mortality between men and women.

“If 18 years is in roughly the same numbers we are talking, after 18 years, when a more free life comes, the boys immediately lead to higher mortality,” he said.
